Daring to Dream with my Friend Fred

We constantly take for granted our many blessings, but people like Fred reminds us of how fortunate we are and it’s ever so humbling. Amanda and others who devote their time in helping others gives me hope. Thank You!

Because Dreams Are Meant to Be Lived

This past May I had a coworker approach me and share with me a story about a young boy she had known for years named Fred. She told me this little one was born with two leg abnormalities and that both he and his family have faced many challenges and obstacles because of his disability. A week later my coworker Clarice and I hopped in the car and headed to his home. His lived about 10-15 minutes from HFLM. The ride to his house is gorgeous, endless green hills and crops being grown all along the way. We parked the car and started walking up hill through the tall grasses.
